Terms
Written to be read, not to be feared: previews are free with no strings, the paid service is monthly with no lock-in, and your content is always yours.
Previews
A preview website we build for your business is free, private and carries no obligation whatsoever. It stays behind a private link until you tell us you want it live. If you'd rather it didn't exist, one message and we take it down the same day.
The service
If you claim your website, we provide it as a managed monthly service: your own web address, hosting, and all content updates handled by us. The price is agreed with you in writing before anything is charged — no setup fees and no long contracts.
You can cancel at any time. When you cancel, we stop billing at the end of the period you've paid for and take the site down, and if you own the domain it stays yours.
Your content
Everything about your business — your name, photos, text you give us, your customers' enquiries — remains yours. We use it only to run your website. The site's design and the software behind it remain ours.
You're responsible for making sure content you ask us to publish (for example photos) is yours to use, and that what the site says about your business is accurate.
Reviews
Your website may display customer reviews that are publicly visible on services like Google. They remain those services' and their authors' content; we simply present them, and we'll remove or update any on request.
What we promise — and what we can't
We work to keep your site fast, accurate and online, and we fix problems quickly when they happen. Like every website service, we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and we both agree its courts have jurisdiction. If we make material changes to these terms we'll tell you by email first.
